About WerxOS · Veteran-owned, built in the dirt

From the cab of an excavator to a 7-figure operation

WerxOS didn't start in a pitch deck. It started in eastern North Carolina, in the cab of an excavator, with a phone buzzing in a pocket and no good way to answer it.

Cody — founder of WerxOS — is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former law enforcement officer who built a 7-figure excavation and trucking company from the ground up. Machines, crews, grading, septic, clearing, hauling. The work was good. The phone was the problem. Every missed call was a customer dialing the next company on the list, and nothing off the shelf actually fixed it. The CRMs were built for other trades. The answering services read scripts. The “AI” tools took a message and hung up.

So Cody built his own. First an AI receptionist that could hold a real conversation — explain the process, answer permit questions, book the walkthrough — well enough that most callers never realize it isn't a person. Then the rest of it: lead flow, scheduling, time tracking, employee management, invoicing, customer texting, all in one place, with AI grinding the busywork. It ran a 7-figure company first. It booked real jobs first. It got tested in the dirt before anyone else ever touched it.

Why that matters to you

Jobber and ServiceTitan were built by software companies. WerxOS was built by an operator who runs the same kind of business you do — and designed it to power a 7-figure operation. When you run WerxOS, you're not buying a generalist tool with a trades skin bolted on. You're running the exact system that runs Cody's company.

What we believe

What we believe

  • Do it right the first time.

    Military discipline, applied to software.

  • Three trades, not three thousand.

Excavation. Landscaping. Hauling. Depth beats breadth.

  • Operators first.

If it doesn't survive a real job site, it doesn't ship.
